About us
Key Transitions Ltd is an independent referral based service and applications are considered from services such as local authorities to provide support and accommodation for young people. Our aim is to assist young people in becoming self sufficient in relation to their personal care and management of everyday activities, and to support them in becoming independent members of society.
Key Transitions Ltd was founded by two experienced social workers with over 30 years experience between them of direct work with young people.
We believe in ensuring that all staff are provided ongoing training opportunities to enable them to effectively undertake their day to day work.We believe in the importance of having staff who are qualified to undertake the role of assisting young people to gain confidence and experience to deal with everyday problems many of us take for granted. We give an assurance that all our staff who have direct contact with young people will be qualified to a minimum in NVQ Level 2 Mentoring.
All staff are expected to undertake a full DBS check before engaging in direct work with young people, which is arranged through an umbrella company.
